Blowering Fire

Blowering Fire

With a quick scurry of driving last Friday night, we found ourselves at Blowering Dam just outside of Tumut in the NSW Snowy Region. The good old Ford Territory made its way down a fishermans driveway and with a tad of a slide stop, we all bolted out of the car, grabbed tripods and camera's and headed for the waters edge as the sun starting showing off some magnificent colour. A great start to a weekends journey.

South Ramshead Sunset

South Ramshead Sunset

I went away with a fantastic bunch of photographers on the weekend down to the snowy region of NSW. Part of the trips plan was to camp up on the Ramshead ranges to try and get a sunrise and sunset of the South Ramshead. So after a bit of a walk up a big hill (2 hours) carrying a lot of gear, we pitched tents, had a yarn, a quick swill of some body warming scotch, and grabbed our cameras searching for a shot. Came across this comp in time for a stunning display of cloud work.

I blended 2 exposures here to try and get some dynamic range back in the sky so here it is.

Thanks again to Mr "PanoKingRacoonWearingMwaaaa" Poulton for organising another fantastic adventure. You da man!!

Layed Rams

Layed Rams

Another shot taken from up at Rams head last year. Hoping to get some more very very soon. I really liked the foreground brush with the old decayed tree growing through it. Such an impressive location with so much to capture.

Thanks for looking

Captured this pano back in Feb with Brad. At first we thought the sky was going to be quite disappointing but then it exploded with colour for about 10 mins. The shot was taken while sitting beside the Tidal Pool at Fairy Bower and its a 6 image Pano with adjustments in PS

Structures

Tim Poulton and I have started a photography series based on structures and landscapes, hand making our pieces from bamboo, we endeavour to create several of these throughout 2012 and photograph them in stunning locations around Australia. Our first piece titled 'Ascension' is over 3 metres tall and represents our journey to a higher level of photography.

Stay tuned for our next piece titled 'Collinear'.

All our panoramic images are available for limited sale, contact us for further details.

Big kudos to the man who started the journey! His brain is one to envy - lets call him a visionary. Cheers Bud!
