I took this shot on a summer afternoon with splendid sunset. Lima is a great metropolis, where gray and smog are part of the cityscape, but our city has a privilege few huge megacities have: a marvelous sea front. And though our weather is not so friendly a great part of the year with an eternal fog, summer sunsets are maybe some of the most beautiful ones one can enjoy anywhere.

Ancón is a district north of Lima, once upon a time the preferred beach resort of the city. Now, though glorious times are over, the town still maintains its charm, with a nice bay and residential buildings, along with some old houses.
