Humming, pulsing, drumming, undulating, vibrating, oscillating…it mocked him.
The subtle fruits of contemplation stirred in his mind; mingling with the acrid pall of doubt.
She gently to a cowering Certainty by the hand as together they walked to the edge…
She took Certainty by the hand an led him to edge. They both looked. They both jumped.
"The intention was never to be obsolete", she said. It was then that she knew he was over.
