Goldfinch; Carduelis carduelis
Well it's still winter here in Holland and I keep enjoying it every
day! Only problem is it's mostly dull weather with thick clouds, but
when the sun peeps through the real colors show up!

A beautiful bird.
Goldfinches are fairly common on the thistles here in England and are difficult to get close to. Excellent picture and very well done.

Ooh!! Een van mijn favorieten!! Wat een prachtige opname! Helaas heb ik het ene puttertje dat vorig jaar op de oprit zat dit jaar niet terug gezien (en dat terwijl ik alle kaardebollen had laten staan, Ondankbaar ding :-)
