This is an .avi showing the 3-D arrangement of the venous blood flow in my head from different angles. It came from the same 2009 studies as the other MRI images in this set. It shows a normal arrangement of veins draining the contents of my skull. Notice that both sides need not be symmetric.

What you are looking at is the shadow of a contrast material, a rare earth metal called Gadolinium, that was injected into a vein in my arm a few moments before this series of MRIs was taken. If you watch carefully you can see the blood in the skin and muscle just inside of my head, a gap where my skull is, and the blood vessels on and inside my brain.

A snow angle landed on earth in my back yard early this morning. The temperature was -6 C and about 10-15 cm of wet sticky snow had just fallen the evening before.

At last! I can reveal my true nature

(if only for one day each year).

This year's crop was far better then last year's - which was almost non-existent.
