All I want for Christmas is a 2 dimensional reduction

Another Christmas tree light abstract for you. I haven't figured out how to do it very well yet, but I am intrigued by the notion of motion in photos. Most photos collapse 3 dimensions into 2; they ignore the dimension of time by having a shutter speed so fast that it captures the world in a relatively static state. The reality is that most great photos do show time and change through implication. In time delay photos, one can be more explicit in capturing the 4th dimension, time, within the image. With these in particular, I reverse the assumption that a static camera should capture a moving image; instead a moving camera captures a static image.
