A newly emerged queen bumblebee, who wasn't able to fly, i don't know why. She is so beautiful.

I love you!!!!!!

Tree bumblebees getting to know eachother better!! This is a new queen just emerged from the nest. Bombus hypnorum was only discovered in the Uk in 2001 and is a european species. It seems to be spreading and is no threat to our native bees.

Enough is Enough!!!

Now she's flinging her legs up to get him off!!!! The males swarm outside the nest entrance waiting for the new queen's to emerge, hoping to be the first to mate with her.
