Spring is here. Well, almost summer. Now the bugs are starting to show up, and the bees are getting more and more active. My macro lens is getting more and more usefull :). On a walk in a park I found these purple flowers that looked nice and there were lots of bees. They were easy to scare but after some time I got stealthy and managed to get some shots. The purple foregraound and the green background, plus the nice detail on the bee makes this photo worthy to be placed on the website :).

Photography of a pelican I took while I was with some friends at the Zoo in Bucharest. Unfortunately most of the things were in progress so lots of animals were not "on display". Anyway the pelicans were always there to show-off for people with camera. This one I liked because it really hated the crowd and always went the other way around to avoid it's fellows :).

Photo of a small bee gathering some goodies from a yellow flower. Since spring is here, finally the bugs are starting to appear and I can properl test my macro lens :). So far the results are great. I only need tog et some clothes that I won't hesitate getting dirty because there is lot of rolling and ground-hugging involved :).

March flower

Another march photo from a blooming tree. This one also contains the illustration of a tradition we romanians have. On the 1st of March men are used to give women a symbolic red and white thread that should be a lucky charm. Women are supposed to wear those until the 1st of April and then tie it to a tree to have the best effect. Here is one of those threads already tied to a tree. Again, the beauty is in the details.

Photo of a flower on march. To be more precise there was a blooming tree, filled with these flower, but as usual the beauty stays in the details. Spring is a great time for macro photography because everything comes back to life so all you have to do is look for small details…everywhere.
