      I've read abot a Cinema chain named Southern Morris. Where they related to Norhern Morris?

      I don't think they are related. Southan Morris Super Cinemas Ltd was a cinema chain based largely around Liverpool and the Wirral (with some Hertfordshire venues). It no longer exists. Southan (not Southern) was the name of the Managing Director - W Southan Morris.

      When Charles Morris set up as a cinema operator he noticed the link and created Northern Morris Cinemas.

      If anyone knows better ..........
