The Regal Minehead in 1975 - the cine-variety theatre was built in 1934 and had 1,250 seats and a stage 27ft deep. In 1981 it was sub-divided with the circle - retaining the stage - as a cinema, whilst the ground floor became a supermarket. Now owned by an amateur operatic society and still in use.
