Wow that brings back memories! I went to this cinema when I was a boy to see Star Wars, Snow White, Superman II...
when it was boarded up we used to eat chips on the benches to the right of the photo. Ah, memories. :-D

Not that securely! There was an entrance behind the cream poster which was often open.As you can imagine,the inside had been trashed.You could walk all around the inside of the building and even onto the roof.

I have added its approx position to the map. I believe it is now the site of the multi-storey car park for the Meadows Centre.

A much missed building. Shame it's still not around, would be perfect as a venue for music and comedy
