      I hope the Francolins sit out for me like this when I make my first trip to Africa later this year! Hope to see this in the Field Guide: Birds of the World group!

      We caught a pair of these birds crossing the road; their instinct is obviously to freeze or move very slowly if caught in the open; it gave us plenty of time to shoot a few frames before they got into the grass. I will post a shot of one in more natural habitat.
