    Yes, I love when you can actually see the pollen stuck to their legs. I was so amazed the first time I took a shot like this.

    Very nice! Last time I photographed a bee, I was petrified of getting stung and he kept buzzing from flower to flower. It was so frustrating. I don't know how in the world you got such an awesome pic!

    Great macro!

    I don't even bother looking at macros full size anymore, just identify them from the thunbnail, open up, scroll down and..

    Which is a shame in this case, as it looks quite nice. Oh well... see how others feel, it might make the SAFE.

    @Pim Rupert:

    it's only cropped and nothing else was manipulated if u'd like I upload the original shot to flickr too.

  26. tarintowers (83 months ago | reply)

    What Pim Rupert said. I like a little more drama in my still lifes -- which is what this is, whether the bee's heart still beats or not.

    @Andreas (124330160): By 'original' I mean unique.

    As Beachy said: "Another fucking bee on a fucking flower."

  30. Andreas. (83 months ago | reply)

    @Pim Rupert: then every thing is ok ;) I didnt understand it the 1st time as i'm not a native english speaker and therfore sometimes my english sucks :P

  31. TvR (83 months ago | reply)

    A good macro, but there are so many of them. And this one is not that one that is special. I do not like the (yellow)leave in front of the picture.

    yes the foreground petal is unfortunate. better than my bee on a flower, but still a bee on a flower.
