Mama Cat

    Mama cat is the matriarch at 15. Still an excellent hunter. She is the most vocal of the group. She's sharing a moment with froz the youngest but certainly wisest.

      My girl is also 15, quite the talker, still hunts, yes, and is very much the cat-in-charge. Unlike your Mama, though, she will suffer no other cats in our life. The other night a strange cat came in through the cat door, and ended up trapped behind the ceiling-height shelves in the front room. There are still blood marks on the wall that are higher than my head. I shit you not.

      Is mama cat related to any or all of the others? There used to be a gang of semi-feral cats around my parents' house, that we ended up slowly and carefully adopting and spaying. They were mostly parents / littermates / cousins / siblings / etc, and all got along pretty well, but our two other non-related cats never made it into the inner circle of the gang's affections, there was just an uneasy truce, often broken by spats and hissyfits.
