A few thoughts converged in my mind over the past few days. I learnt that Belinda is obsessed with otters, with her tweetings about them this week bringing them into my mind-sphere. It also transpires that Netsky will be playing Keytar as the frontman of his band, Jan Hammer style.

These two factoids cajoled my memory into motion and out popped the thought that I either drew or photoshopped a picture of an otter playing a keytar several years ago. I set out to find it in the archives but came up with nothing, which must be my esoteric file naming conventions coming back to bite me.

The lack of proof neglected to satisfy me so I set about drawing a new one on a post-it note, when I came to realise that actually, an otter wouldn't be a very good keytar payer anyway, as the otter doesn't really have shoulders for the strap to rest on.

So here is a picture of that.

I was going through my old iPhoto library this evening when I crossed a photo of Eastcote Surgery, a funny little building I used to live relatively near. I haven't done a building drawing in a while and I figured that I must've taken the photo as I liked the building (even though I took the photo long before I started drawing buildings I like) so it must be worth drawing.

It's a really odd structure - I presume it's a doctor's surgery, but it's so tiny it can't be a very big surgery. Maybe it's for one doctor only?

Speakerbot now has a real 1950s-supercomputer-style blinking led matrix on his front panel!

It kinda shows the rest of him up though so I think I'll need to give him a lick of paint at some point

I'm going to start experimenting with posting my daily creativities to Facebook (yes, despite my hatred for Facebook's image compression) and Tumblr (providing I can finish the design before I fall asleep tonight) as well as Flickr/Twitter, so here is a drawing of mass distribution of stuff from my brain.
