I love it when the moon looks like a big bright smile in the sky :)

Last night I walked past a building in Marylebone called Wyndham House.

In the dark of night, Wyndham House's brightly-lit lobby jumped out at me - all the rich wooden panels, the sconces, the brass and marble... I'm sure it was meant to look opulent and upmarket in some past era, but these dated illusions of luxury in today's world unfortunately served to make it look a bit like the take-away area of a chinese restaurant.

The passing of time can be cruel on style

Everybody knows Television was invented in 1926 by Scotsman John Logie Baird, but a fact that gets forgotten about is that before he worked out how to make TV work, Victorian aristocrats used to employ tiny people to live inside their television sets and perform for them, live and on demand.

Since Baird came along though, these tiny peoples were increasingly made redundant, and without gainful employment or food, they began to disappear from society. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Equity both consider their race critically endangered.

Funny name for an office supply company
