Sucker For Layers
Again, I'm a sucker for contrasting layers of color temperature. The Crate and Barrel glowed as if in anticipation of a nightfall that wouldn't come quickly enough.

Catching Fire
It was not the alchemists but the glassbliowers who won out in learning to turn leaded glass into reflected gold with the adition of carbon oxides and sulfur compounds.

Green Water
In winter, Chicago's water is evergreen and the trees are blue-tinged. Someone should look into reversing this.
