Dust Rock Elephant

    An Elephant in the Hoanib River in north-western Namibia throws a rock at himself while dust bathing. The dust, of course, is for ectoparasites.

    BTW - the location on the map is spot on, unlike so many pics taken in Namibia.

      Thanks for all the comments. This elephant is the same one a this:

      Elephant and Dust.

      I was on tour with photographers and actually got some advantage not having a huge 500ml lens to swing around.
