Limestone cliffs bordering our treehouse
The treehouses were dwarfed by these limestone cliffs, cut by the Khlong Saeng River at their base. The fauna of Khao Sok includes tapirs, sun bears (the smallest bears in the world), cloud leopards, the mouse deer (which is the smallest hoofed animal in the world at around 18 inches long and 5 pounds) and the barking deer (which has a bark louder than a dog's).
