Another shot from week 3 of Project OneRollFifty2. These chairs caught my eye as I was walking by. To me it has a perfect black and white balance on contrast and really pops.

So week 3 of Project OneRollFifty2 was delayed due to the weather here in the Seattle area last week (read more about it on my blog here).

I was finally able to take my roll in yesterday to Panda Lab's and received my negatives today. Getting new film is like opening a christmas present. I just couldn't wait to get home and scan it in.

This is just a teaser of the set that I'll post on my blog maybe tomorrow. I think this was one of my favorite shots from the roll. I love how the light just kisses the word on the manhole.

This roll was an Ilford Delta 3200 Professional and so far I'm loving the characteristics it gave the images.

[Update] Week 3 blog post up with more images.

Gabbiano

Gabbiano

A product-style shot from doing some light kit testing. Even though I haven't had this in awhile, this used to be my favorite Chianti. It's getting closer to being a decade old now. I just should save it for a bit more and make it that much better.

This shot actually has a fair amount of Photoshop (flipping part of the background upside down and using masking to nicely cover up the end of the glass plate the bottle is sitting on, painting back in the reflection in the mask, dodging and burning to make a realistic look, saturation and clarity tweaks in Lightroom).

Strobist Info: Elinchrom 500 BXRi camera left and right with soft boxes. Triggered via Skyport.

Snow Pug {Explored}

Snow Pug {Explored}

Stanley had a blast playing in the white powdery stuff today. He romps around for a bit (after peeing and pooping multiple times), then gets cold and wants to go inside.

Manual exposure, continuous focus, and burst shot FTW!

Thank you all for the views and comments. Getting an image into Explore is always so exciting.

[Update] Highest Explore position was #10 on January 18th 2012! Top 10 out of 500! I'm so excited everyone enjoys this image. Thank you again.
