Alaska 2008

I was originally schedule to be in Alaska Jul 14-21, however I had to change the date of my vacation slightly so I could attend the funeral service for my sister-in-law. Because of that change, my friend was not able to meet me in Anchorage for us to drive to her home in Valdez together. I booked a flight, but alas it was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. they rescheduled me onto a flight for noon the next day, which also ended up getting cancelled! I decided not to hang around until very late that night and risk it happening a third time, so rented a car and drove.
The weather was not great for most of the trip, but thankfully we did get a few sunny breaks.
