While registering a domain today, I noticed that during Dotster's value-added upsells, one of the key features of their generic "business hosting" deal was a blog. I wonder what software it uses.

Funny that weblogs are considered a "business" feature by default. Maybe they're using Blog in a Box. (Horrors.)

Dotster sucks! They were the ones responsible for dropping DNS management for three days, without taking responsibility -- 24 hours after it started they posted that they were aware of it, but that it was fixed. It wasn't actually fixed, and didn't get fixed for three days.

My name is Stephanie, and I work for Dotster. I just wanted to let you know that we have signed a deal with Calliope to provide full-featured blog packages. They will be launched in mid-October.
