wing and a prayer

    Where: Hogsback garden
    What: Japanese anenome
    When: on our holiday
Why: I adore these Japanese anenomes when they flower in our autumn. The wind was blowing and so the edge of this blew out of the frame - an opportunity for you to imagine the movement. A delicate monk's halo in the centre.

I am thinking of all you stranded in Europe because of the volcanic eruption in Iceland. What a natural drama!

Thank you for your visits and comments, they are appreciated so much

I was thinking this morning,, as I was reading about the ash how it was here when Mt St Hellens erupted in 1980 there was an ominous feel all around. The thin coat of ash that covered everything and the GRAY in the air was surreal .
