Suspended
I know it isn't perfectly apt for this image but I do love this wonderful poem by Denise Levertov. It is a hot day today and Chloe is coming to stay for the week-end. This is for all of you who love reading. Have a very fine Friday wherever you are and whatever time it is.
Suspended
I had grasped God's garment in the void
But my hand slipped
On the rich silk of it.
The 'everlasting arms' my sister loved to remember
Must have upheld my leaden weight
From falling, even so,
For though I claw at empty air and feel
Nothing, no embrace,
I have not plummeted.

Whilst poetry is immeasurably more important than messing with pictures I, for one, would find it difficult to be without my Adobe Lightroom ;-)
BTW - you can download a fully functional 30 day's trial. In fact should you be interested I suggest you go for LR3 now in Beta - not quite finished but awesome.

Thanks, my dear... great focusing.
Here in my town, in Tuscany. there's a very dark sky, it's raining and it's quite cold.
The best way to spend this coming evening will be watching a good movie from my bed and read some pages of a book.
I am waiting for Spring, but it seems so far, actually.
