This little VW beetle was made by a local craftsman from wire and
beads. This is a common craft in our area and in South Africa. I love
the details in this.

365 days of Chloe - day 56
Chloe with our dearest Emily. Our family and Emilie's family have known each other for about 30 years, she has seen the children grow, and is one of the best women I have ever met. Uniform is her own choice although it is a common thing in South Africa for women who work in the home.

Wonderful model V Dub Ilse. Beautiful photo of Chloe with your family friend. When we were in South Africa in 2007 Gladdie (part of the family), used to come in each day in a uniform. Most of them were lovely gingham uniforms with a matching mop cap.

That is one geat little VW you have there and very interesting that it is a common craft there.
