Sometimes I put expectations on myself about photography which can have an undesirable effect. I won't go out if the light is crappy, if I don't have the right gear on hand, if there are no flowers, etc, etc. But being out where I was at the time in a beautiful place, I decided to take the opportunity to shoot regardless of the light rain. In the end I've been reminded that shooting in poor light is better than not shooting. I'd taken a couple of dozen shots over a few hours with the mindset that I was just enjoying the time spent. As it turns out, having the images around has further extended that enjoyment and given me a pleasant distraction before bed these past two weeks.
Just do it.
