Hot Enough?

    This idea made me laugh and I thought I'd try sending it to the New Yorker. I got a very nice rejection letter today. I'd like to do a finished version, but I have no idea why, or for who, or what good it would do.

      Take out "The New Yorker" and it'd make a pretty sweet postcard or poster or something... You should keep sending them ideas! (They don't send "very nice" rejection letters unless they like your stuff, right?!)

      the fact that laura wrote "an pest" leads me to believe she originally wrote "an asshole" but then made it kid-friendly.

      Thanks everybody. Yes... I like that the moon is an asshole.. or a pest... sometimes when I think about all the shit that's going on here on earth, and then I see the moon, I think up to it "what? WHAT?" You know? Like... what are you lookin' at, man in the moon? Yes! I know! I know! We're FUCKED! look somewhere else! It's rude to stare!

      i love two things about this:

      1) it does put our problems in perspective.
