Claim for : -
It has been prayed that decree for declaration to the effect that the Magray Tribe is Ancient Prominent Marshal Tribe of Kashmir who are Khashtri Rajputs by caste ( ) and the words “Magray” and “Magri” are used for the same tribe; that controversial and objectionable book on Magray Tribe titled “Tareekh Qoum Magri” exposing the Tribe as Turk Mughals by caste ( ) and also by alleging the words “Magray” and “Magri” for different tribes is based of presumptions and assumptions without any history footings. A decree for permanent injunction restraining the defendants from publishing, selling and circulating this impugned book in any manner. A decree for mandatory injunction directing the defendants to expunge and wipe out the derogatory and controversial material from the said disputed book and tender apology through wide publicity and a decree for damages to the tune of Rs. 100 millions be passed in favour of the plaintiffs and against the defendants with costs.
Plaint presented on 11.2.2008.

This suit coming on this day for final disposal before this Court in presence of Raja Khalid Mehmood Khan Advocate on behalf of plaintiffs and Sardar Muhammad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Khan Advocate for defendants. IT IS ORDERED THAT the suit of the plaintiffs for declaration the Magray / Magri Tribe is ancestors of Khashtri-un-Nasal Rajputs and not ancestors of Turks / Mughals and there is no difference between “Magri ( )” and “Magray ( )” but authentic and popular word is “Magray ( )”. The plaintiffs are also entitled to decree for permanent injunction restraining the defendants from publishing, selling or circulating the impugned book “Tareekh Qoum Magri” and decree for mandatory injunction requiring the defendants to expunge the controversial material from the disputed book and tender apology through wide publicity with recovery of damages against defendant No.1 amounting to Rs.300000/- (three lacs) is decreed with costs.
