Robin warming himself in morning sun on a frosty winter day

Sunset at Westhay Nature Reserve on the Somerset Levels this evening. The only way I could get over the thick reeds in the foreground was to put the camera on a tripod, use the self timer, and hold the tripod above my head, so composition went out the window! I also got some rather odd looks from a few of the passing birdwatchers! I think this one worked out OK; many others didn't! Slik helpfully placed two spirit levels underneath the tripod head which made keeping the camera level a little easier!

Lovely low winter sun streaming through a window and lighting up the table while I was pouring tea yesterday morning. The polished surface of our old stinkwood dining room table gives admirable reflections.

Mute Swan at Westhay Nature Reserve on the Somerset Levels late this afternoon. We were both admiring his reflection! The golden reeds looked magnificent reflected in the rippled water.
