Hi Lance! Got forwarded to your photos via TheDieLine... just curious - were these photographs taken for a particular project? for fun? for some crazy ebay action? Thanks! Erika

Hey everyone- thanks for the comments!

Erkia: We shot the cans for fun, as the owner of the collection had been talking about selling them, and we thought it would make a great collection for inspiration and just archiving a piece of history.

Thanks again to all for your interest!

Thanks for sharing these cans. I have a collection myself. You have some real gems. BTW - there is an auction on ebay right now for that Fritz cone top. It's in slightly better condition than yours and has the bottle cap, but you might like to know the bidding sits at $3,250. Check it out: dy5stf

Not being American, these are mostly unfamiliar, but I'm sure they taste(d) OK. We tend to get only the big name products in the UK, which are no better than our own big brands, but I bet there are some good beers in that collection.

Mostly USA. You have missed the one brewed from fresh Rocky Mountain springwater, which would have tasted better if it had been left that way.
My can of Coors is currently in storage, so I can't photograph it.

I tried searching on Coors, and got to this disaster, which reinforces my view: no taste at all.

This is a comment only on the Coors product; the photo album which spawned this thread is wonderful.
