Summer Memories - Rome (Ps)

Summer Memories - Rome (Ps)

I was going through my archives and suddennly I had the wish of editing one of the summer pics of Alix, also because is now long time I don't do it. The edit is very approximative and made it very quickly, but I like the feeling the pics give to me.
This is shot with mixed light, sun on the back of model and one flash shot through medium soft box in front of her, but don't recall the setting, sorry.

Exposure 1/160s
Aperture f/5.0
Focal length: 24mm (24-700mm f/2.8)
ISO speed 200
Lighting: one Goldenshell 600W at shot though medium soft box in front of model, sun light at sunset from behind model, trigged with Cactus V4s (only the flash......).
Tone adjustment and black & withe conversion, sharpening and add watermark with Photoshop CS5.

Tone adjustment and black & withe conversion, sharpening and add watermark with Photoshop CS5.

Some days I feel that nothing is right with me, there is not a single thing I like of myself, not even feel being the one I always thought I was. I look at me reflected in the mirror and can't recognize the light in my eyes, is not the one that used to be mine, it doesn't look familiar to me. Those days I wonder: is like this that people see me? So, who I really am?

Exposure 1/160s
Aperture f/13.0
Focal length: 26mm (24-700mm f/2.8)
ISO speed 200
Lighting: one Goldenshell 600W at 1/4 of power shot into bouncing umbrella at 4hrs on camera right, trigged with Cactus V4s.
Merged two shots together using layer masks, tone adjustment and high-key style, sharpening and add watermark with Photoshop CS5.

We had a fabulous field trip with Brian class and I was assigned four kids to take a round and it was little challenging for me seeing that I can manage my kids but not sure how to manage other kids especially two little girls. Anyway, I did great and discovered I could be a good babysitter! The kids had lot of fun and enjoyed my funny explanations about the things they were asking me. Brian was delighted I was there with him.
Oh, I discovered also that after 4 hours running everywhere, they were twice quicker than me.......I'm getting old!!
In this pic the kids were on top of an hill (waiting for me!!) deciding where to go next after visiting a miniature of the Great Wall.

Brian or Enrico?

Someone asked me which one is my favorite son, but what a question is it? How can be asked something like this? Obviously who have asked me it does not have children yet and has not been easy to explain him how is possible to unconditionally love two persons with the same intensity.
The question then is remained in my head all day and almost unconsciously I tried to find a reason, even the slightest, to which I had to prefer one to the other two (I included my daughter too). Well, all this thinking has led to exactly the starting point: there is not a favorite, as they say "every roacht is beautiful to its mother."

Exposure 1/200s
Aperture f/9.0
Focal length: 66mm (24-700mm f/2.8)
ISO speed 100
Lighting: one Goldenshell 600W at 1/4 of power shot into bouncing umbrella at 8hrs on camera left, trigged with Cactus V4s.
Merged two shots together using layer masks, tone adjustment, sharpening and add watermark with Photoshop CS5.
