Opening Day at Fenway Park - April 8, 2008

The Boston Red Sox opened their 2008 season in defense of their 2007 World Series Championship on April 8, 2008. During pre-game ceremonies, the Red Sox received their Championship Rings. Bill Buckner was welcomed back to Fenway Park and threw out the Ceremonial First pitch, to start the home-town team's 2008 season.
