"Well - I suspected they put a plastic egg into my nest ... and now look at this!"

I was in a somewhat serious mood when I started my walk round Mosvatn - seems somebody wanted to see me smile ;) It worked!

As I said ... they are a good motif. I was already getting a bit desperate as a whole flock of seagulls passed by and I didn't manage to take one pic. Already felt a bit stupid to stand there with red-frozen hands keeping the camera in front of my face. Of course they moved when I decided to put it back into my bag. Then they came back ... ok, I grabbed the camera again (apparently too late) but then this single gull came flying towards me and took three rounds round this rock. Thank you, Jonathan! ;)

Almost the only birds one sees here ... apart from crows. But they always make a good photo motif. This was at the very beginning of my walk - where I also tested my camera after it had been fixed by our German IT technician. He saw the camera, immediately grabbed it and had a closer look at it. So I have now a fixed computer and camera. Nice! -- Btw, this is NOT a b&w pic!

Had a long walk round the lake today and when going home found these two guys sitting in this birch tree. It first seemed they were good friends ... but then... I probably missed an argument. ;) After taking more than 150 photos this was the last one. Have a nice weekend, dear friends! :)

I still admired the sunrise in the East ... while this was accumulating in the West. I could see it crawling over the multi-storey buildings on the left while walking up the path toward the bus-stop. Interesting skies in Stavanger! :) Btw, tonight we had the most tremendous thunderstorm ... it really doesn't get boring here - weatherwise - and otherwise...
