Yellow-Blotched Palm-Pitviper
This was lit with a 550 EX strobe on a sync cord, and I used some leaves in front of the snake to cut the beam and make the small highlight.

I shoot a lot of reptiles as well, in the wild and at a place called Reptile gardens in South Dakota. When I post mine, I would like your opinion. This one is a most excellent capture. Richly detailed and excellent colors.
