The first Northen Lights this season!
I like to hear what you think. I love creative comments, I have no problem with negative such as long as it's somewhat constructive.
My personal favorite from August 2006

I agree with AA PhotoBoy. Yes, very well captured.
I have seen spectacular sky fenomena once. It was mystical. Beautiful.

This is Nature's way of telling us I am too beautifull to be ignored. For me it is the other way around,i.e,. the beauty is allways there inviting the beholder to prove he/she has eyes.

Thank you for submitting this spectacular image to the Pinnacle Challenge - good luck!!

I read through your thread and there is all this scientific talk about color and atmosphere-- blah blah blah. This is MAGIC - artistic magic - you have made this natural phenomenon feel immediate and intimate yet you give a sense of the hugeness of scale. It is some kind of alchemy. I only wish I could see this for myself, with my own eyes (and camera!) someday. Good luck in the Pinnacle Challenge - it is an outstanding image. :-)
