EARLY MORNING GREETING

Spiderwort comes in a few different shades and this is one of my favorites. It greets me each morning and is closed and asleep by early afternoon.
HAPPY SUMMER TO ALL! (I have to take a break as I have an Early Childhood conference coming up and I have to be ready for it. I will be able to look at pics but not do much for a couple of weeks.)

This is lovely. Don't you just love spiderworts. Good hard-working perennials.
Well I miss you on flickr but it's nice to see someone who sometimes has better things to do. Lol

I tried Spiderwort several times, but with no luck. Too much clay soil here, I think

Not flowers that I'm familiar with, but they certainly look very pretty in your great photo. Grand job.

Is THAT what these are called? I did wonder - they aren't wild here but there are some in my garden that i inherited from the previous gardener. They are lovely aren't they!
