YANKEE FOOD FROM THE SEA

These are all the seafoods I grew up with. Here they are shown in one of the kitchens in the old houses of Portsmouth N.H.

    I had hard crabs and beer and cherry sodas, at Erin's yesterday,and went swimming...the water was 92 degrees F.
    ... then last night we took the grands to the carnival....the kids wanted sausages, Sam had an oyster fritter brimming with oysters...ummmm and I had a crab cake....that was all meat... ahhh the foods of summer in Maryland. :o)) I ate ice cream on the way home.
    We left E, S, and the kids eating funnel cakes... and they stayed for 2 more hours playing games, winning prizes and riding the rides....they didn't get home until after 11pm. :o)

    Kath--yum! Your foods are similar to ours as far as seafood (except for your crabs! But we have lobster!) Your vegies ripen way earlier. Of course, none of that matters unless you are a localvore. :o)
