Torch bearing foxes!
I thought long and hard about cropping this, but I like the out of focus context.
It was surprisingly difficult to get focus in the snow. Very easy for the camera to focus on the snow in front. Hard to see through the viewfinder too. So I'm pleased these came out well. Very much worth the cold, wet, numb fingers etc.

This is my favourite.
We were there too (aren't we lucky, living in Marsden).
I thought it was a brilliant evening, quite magical with the snow and fire. Your photos capture it beautifully! Hope next year is as good!

Thanks janeywhit. I'm already looking forward to next year. Marsden is a cool place. Right on the edge of the Peak District too! :-)
