Dream Sword
No editing at all here. Just a crop. Love the colours here. It's the edge of a soap bubble. It doesn't feel like that though.
To me it feels like a perfect dream sword. Bubbles can be perfect in their own sweet way. Perfect curves, perfect colours, perfectly smooth. What more could you ask for?
I love the fact that the black background is very clean. It wasn't even a black background. It was actually a white wall, which is beyond weird. The bubble's edges were lit so brightly that the background could be any colour - it just didn't matter.
Something that really pleases me here, perhaps more than it should do, is that this image looks kind of digital and super modern, and yet it's an actual photograph with no editing. One of my first thoughts when I saw it on the back of my camera was: so 1980s!!! It's cool that people are commenting that it would make a good album cover, and like a Pink Floyd cover. Very true. I once wore a Pink Floyd badge on my school jacket. It does remind me of that badge.
