Spider (Popping Bubble)
Perfect bubble weather this morning, so I did these all on my own. Camera in one hand, popping finger on the other. Not easy, but pretty!!
I think it's really interesting that the burst droplets seem to form patterns here. They're like lines; like legs of an octopus. I'd have thought they'd be more random, less evenly distributed, but the legs do seem to be evenly spaced. Not that I can explain this. I just take the pictures!
I imagine that this shot will slip under the radar for a while. Then, one day, a scientist will be doing some research into droplets, and they'll look up bursting bubbles, and they'll come across this. It's exemplary of burst patterns!

amazing, How can you get shot like this ?
Do you need special lens or can you get this shot with the normal lens ? :)

@Failgirl. I used a Nikon D90 and a 50mm lens. That's a normal DSLR, so yes, it's a pretty standard setup, and yes, you could do this with any DSLR and a basic lens. This shot is all about lighting and timing. I hope this helps. I f you try it, good luck. P.S. I wish I lived in Iceland. I went to Reykjavik and round about a few years ago. Fantastic place to take photos.

Wow, this is incredible !!!!
I got a shot of one that popped, but you can't tell it was a bubble.

You should send your pic and question re the lines of droplets to 'Bang goes the theory'. They would love to tell the world (well, the BBC audience anyway) why that happens
Fantastic pics, btw.

You probe that when it comes to bubbles sometimes the best thing to do is burst it.
