A day of sticks today. The rooks are flying with twigs in their beaks, nest making. And this dog!
The woman running was annoyed with me for taking this. She said she didn't like having her photo taken. She was kind of OK with it when I said it was the dog I was photographing. Made me feel a bit guilty though. I was a way away with my 200mm lens, which is pretty big, and I was crouched on the path trying to get on an eye line with the dog. I don't know if I'd like someone kneeling down on a path in front of me pointing a 200mm at my feet. A bit intrusive!
I sometimes ask people first if I can photograph their dog, but most times you have to be quick and just take the shot before it's gone, which is a bit cheeky. Maybe I should stick with squirrels! Squirrels volunteer 10 seconds for a single peanut, no questions asked.

Made Explore! My first Explore in quite a while!!
Actually made #1 on Explore. I think the Explore info has gone though, maybe because I later reduced the image size.

Great shot - worth the hassle. You should remind her that she is in a public place and everyone can see her running, but I do agree with both side :P

It's a wonderful shot!! She probably would've loved it if you could've gotten her email or something and send a copy of the pic. If it were my dog, this would be framed.

Fantastic shot, very striking, too bad she hassled you a bit though. The eye contact with the dog is great!
By the way, you asked how my bubble shot was lit. It was in front of a low wall with the sun directly above and behind it. So the wall was completely in shadow, and if the bubble floated to just the right spot it would light up against it.
