I had the most wonderful time shooting with Penny last week- she is a wonderful person and quite a trooper- rolling around in the dirt and leaves! Here is one from our shoot inspired by the Salem witch trials. I will be uploading more.

I have been encouraged, on occasion, to write more (or something) about my photos. The problem is, I feel I am much more articulate with my photos, while words usually fail me. For example, I had a perfect vision of how this would look in my head, and it seemed beautiful and meaningful, but I wasn't sure I could explain what it was all about. Several hours of photoshop later, it came to me in the form of words. and please excuse my lack of eloquence :) I feel like nature is a powerful force in my life.. I need time surrounded by it to feel grounded and alive. To feel like life is worthwhile and meaningful. Sometimes I get lost in the artificial world we have created around us, offices, buildings, concrete, and that is exactly how i feel. lost. So, thus begins my nature series and our powerful connection to where we all came from.
