120223 W is for Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner
This award was given to me as the IngleBean CoffeeHouse celebrated its first anniversary on February 14th. I was honored. Also in the last two weeks, I have won the lottery twice (something I never play ~ but the $12 prizes ~ netting $9 ~ were exciting) and a gift certificate to a wonderful bistro for answering a trivia question. Here's the thing: I never win anything, so it's been quite fun. Of course there is always balance and hence why maybe I am fighting this late season flu (and taking way too many indoor-last-minute pictures of the day).

you should try husband's chocolate/cola cure - you drink a big glass of coke (he says a whole liter, but that's just madness) and an entire chocolate bar (again, he says 200 grams, but that's definitely overdosing), then crawl in bed under your warmest comforter and have a nap - your body uses the calories to chase away the bug while you sleep. and voila. all better. plus you got to eat chocolate. and have a nap.
