120222 Coke Soda Pop

We call Coca Cola "soda" in this area, as do many neighbors to our East. But just to the West of us, less than an hour away, everyone calls it "pop," and this trend seems to reflect most of the rest of the nation, except in the South where folks call it "Coke," even when it is not a cola. Geez, if we can't agree on a common name for this fizzy drink, how do you think we can solve the big problems?
