Twas the night before Thanksgiving...

...when all through University City not a student was stirring not even a dragon....

The night before Thanksgiving is widely known as the biggest “bar night” of the year. I remember a time when I would rush home from college so that I could meet up with all of my old friends at the local watering hole. Fast forward 20 years, and my biggest expectation for this evening was photographing the dramatic full moon that has graced Philadelphia the past couple of evenings. As I wandered the streets of University City trying to position myself for the photo I couldn’t help but to recall the “good old days.” Oh well, the full moon never materialized but the empty streets of University City gave way to a climactic blue hour. By chance I stumbled upon the Drexel Dragon at just the right moment and this time I benefitted by the mass exodus of college students...my how things have changed.
