We have caught several white breasted nuthatches but Saturday was the first time that I was there for a red!

Isn't he cute? One of my favourite things about nuthatches are the sounds they make-now this is the first time I've tried this here but (I hope) here's a link

    I couldn't get the sound to work, but we had a Red-breasted Nuthatch in England, 1989, and I saw and heard it. Fantastic! Sounds like a toy trumpet.
