Stormy Skies

No digital trickery involved in this photo. Just a polarising filter and the amazing light. We had the sun setting behind us as we drove into a storm on the way back to Toowoomba from Goondoowindi. Taken out the window of the moving car. Hence the blurry foreground.

I think the blurry foreground really makes this photo actually - another excellent shot, Scott, keep 'em coming. Hope all is well and not swept away.

I can't really take credit for this one. I was driving and trying to find a patch of solid, non-saturated ground to pull over and take photos. I passed my camera to Laura and asked her to take some photos before the light disappeared. This was the best one.

What I really want to is to go climbing and take some photos, but it looks like we won't even be able to get out of town for another week or so to see if any of the crags are still standing after the floods. All the roads are wrecked, and every servo in Toowoomba is sold out of petrol thanks to all the panicky people here who rushed in to fill up 44 gal drums yesterday.

      I wish I owned a whitewater boat. . . . .
