Old Warrior

    During WWII those pesky Nazi U-boats were sinking ships off our Delaware coast. So the Army built almost two dozen fire control towers to spot and attempt to sink the submarines. Now, more than 60 years after the war, these towers still dot our coast. My assistant Autumn added the texture to this warm sunrise.

      I see it in a lightbox, with 3D visualization. I can imagine a similar sunrise back in the 40's... when the silence is suddenly interrupted by explosions...
