Let's go for a drive under full of stars

I know this photo is similar with previous one.
But shooting star trails with city scenery is really fun!
I hope that my flickr friends won't get bored to see it.

    夜空の下で輝く道路、向こう側の街の明かり、ロマンチックない1枚ですね。

    I love it, I wont get bored they are very interesting to capture. But I find it a little difficult to catch it with all the ambiance from the city.

    Great Stuff!

    Is this one shot or a few layered together?

  12. m.naka [Catching up] (36 months ago | reply)

    @coltonvtecs:
    As you said, this is layered image.
    I generated this image from about 1,200 images.
    I used same technology with PhotoShop's "Lighten layer".

    Very interesting! I'm going to have to explore this program! I'm hoping to get some shots like this. About how long did it take to get all 1200 and how long was each single exposure?

  14. m.naka [Catching up] (36 months ago | reply)

    @coltonvtecs:
    In this case, the single exposure time was 5 sec. with 5.6/f ISO400.
    It means the total exposure time was about 100 min.

    Oh, did that result with the best shots? Hope you had a Shutter release cable. And there's no ghosting at all. I like this shot a lot.

  16. m.naka [Catching up] (36 months ago | reply)

    @coltonvtecs:
    Yes you are right. I used release cable.
    I selected continuous shutter mode and I locked on my shutter using release cable.
    I didn't choose best result shots only. I used all of shots I took.
    The result is this photo.
