But looks can be deceiving! I am so sleep deprived at the moment. Freya is up almost all night and I'm averaging between two and four hours a night. A couple of nights ago I put her in her own room for the first time but it only lasted a couple of hours. Last night, after three hours of settling her she slept in our room again.

Tonight she had a massive tantrum and refused to be bathed then another few meltdowns at bedtime and beyond. I've no idea if she's just asserting her authority (she has taken to angry squealing when she doesn't get her own way), if it's teething or something else. We did some sleep training with Amelie at the same age but it's harder to do when there's two of them. Remind me this too shall pass!

Spots or stripes? That was the emergency decision I made this morning dressing Freya. However making life saving choices every day are RNLI.

Amelie shows off her new gloves. I am seriously in love with them, as is she, although she bit half of the appliques off at school so I now have a sewing job on my hands!

Amelie started Rainbows today. She was a baby when I put her name down as I'd heard the waiting list is very long here and it paid off as she got a place soon after she turned five and became eligible to join. I was advised to put Freya's name down tonight too. It went well, she enjoyed it and came home with a lovely thistle fridge magnet she'd made, a picture shoe'd drawn and her little bag of tuck (sweeties).
