Everything is a biography...
Everything is biography, Lucien Freud says. What we make, why it is made, how we draw a dog, who it is we are drawn to, why we cannot forget. Everything is collage, even genetics. There is the hidden presence of others in us, even those we have known briefly. We contain them for the rest of our lives, at every border we cross.
So, there is a reason why I took picture of this flower... Hm...
It is late, I can not reach a clue to anybody's presence in this
flower... Should you recognize yourself in this, please let me know. I
like to keep my memory files up to date.

i think is Greater Knapweed or Common Knapweed you are looking for. i got some in my garden which we nicked from the field when we were out for a walk. ;-)
